The Day of Play was held on Saturday, October 22nd at the S&T Bank Arena in celebration of Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children’s Month.  This annual event is meant to encourage families to take the time to relax and play together.  When parents spend time playing with their children, it increases family bonding, creates happy memories, promotes healthy physical activity and is just plain fun! 

This year over 1200 people were in attendance at the Day of Play. Families enjoyed the huge inflatables which included: a Velcro wall, bounce, obstacle course, slide, and Tiki climbing wall. They also enjoyed parachute games, the Wi sports and dance center, and the balloon masterpieces created by Master Balloon Artist, Dennie Huber.
