Indiana County Child Day Care Program (Indi Kids) is looking for civic-minded individuals willing to serve on the agency’s Board of Directors. The mission of the agency is to work with families to provide high-quality early care and education services to the families of our community. Some of the responsibilities that board members are tasked with include ensuring that the mission and the philosophy of the program is followed, promoting the best interests of the program, making sound financial decisions without conflict of interest, assisting with annual fundraising efforts, and directing and reviewing activities of committees and the officers of the board. Board of Directors members are asked to serve for a term of one year, with no restrictions on the number of terms to which a board member may be elected. The Board of Directors meet 10 times per year at noon on the last Wednesday of the month. Board committees meet as needed. Our program is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
