After graduation, Lyda was hired as a full-time floater for a few months until she got a position in the University Pre-K Counts classroom as the assistant teacher. In December of 2021, Lyda stepped into a new role as the Scheduling and Admissions Coordinator and joined the Indi Kids administrative team. Now she will be entering back into the teacher role as she has accepted our Pre-K Counts teacher position for our Homer-Center location. In her free time, she loves watching and playing sports, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family. Lyda also coaches varsity volleyball at United High School. Lyda says, "I love working with children of all ages. I have learned through my education and experiences that when given the opportunity to explore and play, children can do amazing things! Indi Kids has been my second home for many years now, and I cannot imagine being anywhere else."

Miss Kelsey started in October 2022 as a substitute in the Homer-Center classroom and also fills at our other classrooms as needed. She lives in Homer City with her husband and 3 children and has been a stay at home mom for the last 10 years. Kelsey graduated from Clarion University with a bachelors degree in business but has always loved working with children. She has spent a lot of time babysitting, volunteering in the PTA at her children's school, coaching t-ball and softball, and when the opportunity came up to sub in a classroom- she jumped on it! Kelsey spends her time at her children's many activities and sports, camping nearly every weekend, swimming, thrifting, and simply just being with family and friends. Kelsey’s favorite thing about working at Indi Kids is getting to know all of our wonderful children and knowing she is making a difference in their lives.
