Curriculum

Indi Kids utilizes the HighScope Curriculum for our Infant Toddler program as well as our preschool  and Pre K Count programs.  The Curriculum is based on a newly revised set of key developmental indicators and address all domains of child development.  These key developmental indicators or KDIs are aligned with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, the Common Core standards, and state early learning standards.  The KDIs assist teachers in focusing their observations and interpretation of children's actions, helping them maintain reasonable expectations for children, and enabling them to recognize and support children's emerging capacities.

Our program environments stress interaction and exploration with adults and other children, as well as a wide variety of experiences and materials.

Child-initiated, teacher-supported play is an essential component of our daily schedule.

Our purpose is to work with parents and children to foster each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development to the fullest potential.

We value and consider the individual strengths and developmental needs of each child.
