GUPPIES TEACHING STAFF
Sheri Bowersox, Kaelyn Ramsdell
Sheri Bowersox is the Head Teacher in the Guppy Room. She is originally from the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. She joined our staff in July 2016 with over 20 years of experience working with young children. She graduated from HACC with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She married her High School sweetheart in 1992. They traveled the world together until her husband retired from the Army with 21 years of service. During this time Sheri worked in Child Development Centers in Pennsylvania, New York, South Korea, Texas, Germany and Louisiana. Sheri started her own in home day care after her 2nd child was born. Her son and daughter have since grown up in the blink of an eye. Sheri is thrilled to be working with infants. She loves experiencing all the precious milestones infants so quickly develop, and the nurturing that infants need every day.
Kaelyn Ramsdell My name is Kaelyn Ramsdell! I have worked at Indi Kids since September 2019 and I absolutely love it here! I am the new assistant teacher in the infant room, but I have experience working with various ages. I love coming to work every day and seeing the children and staff. I am grateful for the opportunity to watch the children here grow and learn through play.
I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in May 2019 with my bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations, with a minor in Sociology. I am currently attending IUP for my master’s in school counseling. My anticipated graduation date is in August 2021. After graduation, my goal is to get a job as a school counselor in an elementary school. I decided to pursue a career in school counseling because I have a passion for educating children and helping improve the lives of others. I want to help children gain confidence in all aspects of their lives. My goal is to inspire children and help them find their voice.
